Breast Feeding Must-Haves

Breast Feeding Must-Haves

Planning to breastfeed your baby? Here are the top must-haves I have ready before baby comes—and why they’re lifesavers:

  1. This is my go-to nipple cream – To soothe and heal sore, cracked nipples in those early days of nursing.
  2. Can't live without my Haakaa pump – To catch letdown milk from the opposite breast and build a freezer stash with zero effort.
  3. For on-the-go I use this handheld pump – A quick, quiet option for relieving engorgement or pumping on-the-go.
  4. Hands-free is always this electric pump – A more efficient way to pump regularly, especially if you plan to return to work or build supply.
  5. These breast pads are awesome – To prevent milk leaks from soaking through your clothes (because they will).
  6. I love this comfortable nursing bra – For easy feeding access and soft support during those sensitive, fluctuating early weeks.
  7. The best breast milk storage bags – To safely freeze and store pumped milk in an organized, space-saving way.
  8. Large and absorbent burp cloths – For catching spit-up, milk dribbles, and all the mess that comes with feeding -- these Cloud Muslin burp cloths are the most absorbent on the market!
  9. A supportive nursing pillow is non-negotiable  – To help position baby comfortably and reduce strain on your arms, neck, and back.

I keep all of these items (plus my favorite snacks + water bottle) in a cart like this one next to my bed or the couch so they're all within reach when I need them! I promise, your future self will thank you for prepping a breastfeeding cart full of these goodies!
